I have collected toy animal figures ever since I can remember, but some of my favourite, rare species were absent in toy form. One day I decided to try sculpting some of the missing ones. After a few trials and effects shown to other collectors I received my first commission. With time I learned more and now my hobby has changed into a profession.
Living in Utrecht with my husband and son I opened my own company Horse and Bird, under this name I sculpt collector limited edition figures but I also design toys for the toy brand Mojo fun.
My current and older works can be seen on website Horse and Bird and on Facebook profile of Horse and Bird.

I started to collect animal figures and books when I was a little child. Since I can remember, I have loved animals.
I work mainly as graphic designer and photographer. Sculpting is a hobby for me.
When I have free time, I'm sculpting rare animals which are not available anywhere.
My first sculpture was a white rhino from white plasticine. It was a task, to make a model from something and make with it a photo animation. My rhino got lot of good comments. This was the time, when I decided, I would like to start sculpting more animals.
Now, you can see all of my models on my website http://noemidsoos.weebly.com/ and you can follow the news on my Facebook page Noémi D. Soós Creations.
When I was a kid my grandmother used to buy me animal figurines, and there were lots of books of animals on the shelf of my bedroom. With time I became a collector, and after that I finally decided to create my own models. Soon with the tools, materials and knowledge I started sculpting and what began as a hobby has become a profession.
In 2011 I sold my first sculpture copies and since then I have managed to start up a small workshop in Barcelona, where I live and I combine my work as a sculptor with architecture, my other profession, and with family and fatherhood.
In 2013 I created Bestiari, where you will find my older models. Also in my facebook page you will find pictures of my work in progress
JoSÉ MIGUEL APARICIO SANTOS
Since I was a child I have been fond of nature. Our parents instilled in us this passion from a young age and in my case the interest in animals has always been a part of my life, together with what would become later my profession: archaeology and art restoration.
One day I tried to model figures animal species that interested me and the time I've shared with different friends has become my other profession. Which I love.
My work and evolution can be viewed on my website signatustudio and my facebook page.
Animals of all kind have always been my passion, and above all of them, horses are my favorite. I started collecting horse toys, and one day some years ago I decided to paint one to make it similar to a horse I used to know. After having painted few more horses I tried to sculpt one. The result was a disaster but I kept trying, and now I like to sculpt different animals instead of only horses. What started as a little entertainment has ended as a hobby I really enjoy.
Since I started sculpting I´ve sold some sculptures and resin copies.
A few years ago I was also asked to sculpt a trophy for a national jumping show and a copy is given to the winner year after year since then.
All my sculptures can be seen in my Facebook profile La Lobera Studio: www.facebook.com/laloberastudio/
